Make your own adorable Wine Glass Witch. If you are looking for a cute, easy Halloween project, this is it!
DIY Wine Glass Witch Materials :
• Any (clear) Wine Glass
• Craft Paint: Green, Black, and White were used in this project
• Foam Paint Brush
• Paint Brushes
• Small Easel or Paper Plate
• Orange Yarn
• Black Felt
• Glue Gun
• Glue Sticks
• Tea Lights (for decoration)
DIY Wine Glass Witch Instructions:
• Lay down a covering to protect your work surface.
• Paint the inside of your wineglass green with your foam paintbrush.
• Allow to dry.
• Now paint the bottom half of the outside of your wine glass green. Make sure you paint out all the overlapping marks.
• Allow to dry.
• With your wine glass upside down, paint the top stem of your wine glass black.
• Allow to dry.
• Use a smaller paintbrush to paint on two eyes using white paint.
• Allow to dry.
• Paint a smaller black circle inside the white eye.
• Allow to dry.
• Using a small pointed brush paint a small white dot inside the black eye circle.
• Combine small dot of black paint together with a bit of green paint; use this to paint the witch’s nose.
• Allow to dry.
• Paint on several warts using black paint. A pointed tip brush works best for this.
• Using a small pointed brush paint on a mouth using black paint.
• Allow to dry.
• Cut two sets of 14 strings of yarn about 3″ in length.
• Tie the top of the orange sting into knots for the hair.
• Hot glue the knots to the top of the witch’s head on either side of the stem.
• Now cut a small witch’s hat from your black felt.
• Hot glue the small witch’s hat to the top of the witch’s head.
• Top off with a tea light candle and set this cute little wine glass witch in the middle of your table, on your fireplace mantel or an end table for a great Halloween decoration!
Note: do not light your tea light because of the "hair". If you want a "flame", use a battery operated tea light.
