Give your fridge a holiday face lift with these cute holiday home decorations!

This is totally beginner-friendly and is a fun project to make with kids, too.

Gather up your supplies. You can get most of them at your local dollar store or craft store, or if it's off-season, you can find them all online with no trouble at all.

Please be sure to use paper straws because they're so much more eco-friendly than their plastic counterparts!

Since these are so lightweight, you don't have to use a super strong magnet, but any magnet should pretty much work fine!

Cut your straws down to the desired length. Add glue to the front and sides of the center straw, and add four around them, as pictured.

Leave the back flat so you can attach the magnet later.

Wrap baker's twine around the center a few times, and tie it in a knot.

Glue a magnet to the center of the back, and let it dry thoroughly.

Snip off a piece of metallic garland, and glue it inside the center straw.

Glue a star or two to the top. This is the "fuse," and the star looks like a little spark!
