Thanksgiving Table Setting

Our Thanksgiving table setting this year is full of vintage style with blue and white dishes and pumpkin colored accents.
My mother's set of vintage "Liberty Blue" china sets the main part of the table. The dishes came from my great aunt who bought them from the grocery store with her weekly coupons. There are dozens of pieces in the set, perfect for a large family gathering.
The center piece is a simple row of glass hurricanes and garden pots with boxwood topiary balls. The silver tray under them gives the table a bit of sparkle. I use unscented white candles and glass candle holders that go with everything.
There are a few bits of fall decor, such as the glittered faux pumpkins and the pumpkin vase filler. Each place setting has a vintage lace doily and a bosc pear for more color. More details are on the blog.
Suggested materials:
  • Boxwood ball topiaries   (Hobby Lobby)
  • Glass hurricanes   (World Market)
