This is a fun fast easy, and could be free craft. If you have some card stock you cut out little elephant heads book marks from card stock Or use free paint chip pieces for the project.
The elephant book mark on the left is made from card stock .I remembered I had some larger size free paint chips paper ,I think I got them at Lowe's . So I decided to use that paper. It is good quality heavy paper
next step cut out the book mark on card stock paper or the paint chip pieces
When you have part of the ear cut from the paper fold part of the paper back ,and tape it down or glue it. This will make the long paper body stronger .Only if you use card stock will you do it this way. If it is the paint chip paper you can just cut that part off ,or leave it The ear of the elephant is what hooks over the top of the page to mark it into a book. Do you see how I started to fold it back in step 2, cut part of the ear out then fold the paper.
I keep my book mark pattern in a clear zip lock pouch like this so, I can find it fast to make more when needed.
Peek a boo the elephant can see you. This got mailed off to our great grandson today .Also extra book marks, and a pattern so mom can make more.
