Candy Corn Pumpkin Art

When I challenged myself to come up with a home décor project using candy corn, I really didn't think I'd dream up something I liked so much. Candy corn is tricky to decorate with. At first glance, there's not a lot to do with candy corn—at least when it comes to home décor—besides filling a glass vase or mason jar with the kernels.
But after staring at a bag of Brach’s Indian Corn (it’s different from regular candy corn in that the ends are brown instead of yellow,) I thought to create a pumpkin shape using the candy corn pieces.
Here’s how to make your own candy corn pumpkin art.
Step 1: Grab your piece of wood
Step 2: Arrange your candy corn in a pumpkin shape
Step 3: Hot glue the candy corn to the board
Step 4: Add a stem
I love the simplicity of this craft project. It’s great for using up that extra candy corn. And, this art piece isn’t too Halloweeny, so it can last well through Thanksgiving.
Hang your candy corn pumpkin art on the wall or add it to a fall décor arrangement on a side table or shelf.
