Creating A Cozy Global, Eclectic Fall Hearth

Fall is a great time to take risks with color mixing and coordination. This season, try a new take on fall decor by creating a super cozy global, eclectic fall hearth filled with worldly style, various textures, and non-traditional colors!
I started with a more simple fireplace mantle that would not detract from the cozy pillow oasis found at the base of the fireplace. A few stacked books are great to add height and fresh maple tree clippings provide nice natural fall feel.
I added my beautiful Parrot in the Jungle print that was previously in my dining room to add a bold color to the mantel. The teals and greens mixed with pinks in this print are the best sources of color inspiration for rest of the fall decorating.
Add pops of color to the hearth of your fireplace using colorful global textiles. Don't worry about whether they will match or not. The beauty with these colorful, global textiles is that they all seem to work together! Not only does this ensemble create a beautiful space in your home, but the mix of warm and cool colors creates a new non traditional fall palette.
This fall, create a cozy fireplace hearth that is cozy and full of color. See more of this colorful global, eclectic space in my fall home tour (link below).
