Fall Pumpkin Banner

Banners are a great way to decorate your home. They're easy to make, easy to store and are often reusable. I personalized the same plain burlap banner I decorated with fabric bunnies for Easter, for fall, with the addition of a few paper pumpkins and some leftover sewing trim.
Since I already had the banner, I just needed several sheets of scrapbook paper. I grabbed them at the craft store when they were on sale. Next, I made a cardboard pumpkin pattern, traced it on the paper and cut the shapes out.
I had some old trim that I decided to use for the pumpkin stems. I just cut a little bit of it away and glued it to the back of the pumpkins. I also cut a few leaves out of green wrapping paper and added that to the pumpkins.
The trick to reusing the banner, is to add the teeny, tiniest drop of hot glue to adhere the pumpkins to the burlap. The pumpkins will stick, but will also come right off when you're ready to transform the banner for the next holiday.

Like Christmas! I have a ton of Christmas crafts, come peek!
