In an effort to bring some spring decor to my front door without spending much, I dug around in my stash of Easter decorations and found two rather sad, skinny wreaths that needed some help. Since one was smaller than the other, I decided to combine them and make one spring wreath.
There was about an inch or so gap between the two wreaths, which turned out not to be a problem. I attached the wreaths together with a twist tie being sure to leave that gap.
I then started winding burlap ribbon that I had gotten at Walmart around the two wreaths.
I adjusted the ribbon so that it was spaced equally around the two wreaths.
I hot glued the loop of ribbon in order to hang it on the door.
You can't really tell that it is two wreaths. They just look like one full spring wreath. Yay, success. and all I purchased was the burlap ribbon!
And now, I am ready for Easter.

Very clever. I love repurposing rather than buying new, and your wreath is a great example of how well that can turn out!
