This Back to School ruler wreath is a perfect way to kick off decorating for the upcoming hustle and bustle. We love back to school season and all of the excitement around new schedules, teachers and friends. This wreath was put together with Ad-Tech’s new Cool Tool, a seriously low temp glue gun. I love it because it will be so great with my kiddos and my Girl Scouts too. This post is sponsored by Ad-Tech but the ideas and opinions are my own.

We gathered up some rulers, ribbons and craft supplies to get started.

The first thing we did was use the Cool Tool to glue the four rulers together.

Next, we cut ribbon into 4 inch pieces.

Then we glued the ribbon around the entire 4 rulers.

Next we looped the ribbon and glued it down.

We painted some wooden circles to spell out Back to School.

We added the circles to a ruler and added it to the wreath, all with the Cool Tool. We also stitched up a felt apple that we cut out with my apple die that I designed for Ellison Education/ Sizzix and added it.

The Cool Tool is awesome. I love it and love that I won’t be so at risk of burning myself while I make and make and make all the things. You can grab it on Amazon.

Tomorrow is the last project in the Back to School (Home Projects) Series so be sure to check back.

Cheers to Celebrating and Decorating for Back to School,

Laura
