Let me show you how easy and fun it is to make an embroidery hoop wreath! Get creative and customize an entirely unique look with a simple embroidery hoop and florals of your choosing.
I was inspired to create an embroidery hoop wreath after seeing some wood-like foam floral stems from Hobby Lobby. I knew they would work well with the tones on the embroidery hoop and deliver a unique look for this project. You could create a completely unique look all your own by choosing any variety of florals.
I began by roughly planning which stems should go where and how they would be layered. I created 2 wreaths, one with the embroidery hoop and another with a rope wreath form. Both turned out so cute!
I used a mixture of waxed cording and a glue gun to adhere the stems to the wreath. You could also use floral wire if it goes well with the tones of your project.
I worked layer by layer to stack the florals around the wreath.
The extent to which you cover the Embroidery hoop wreath is entirely up to your creativity. I've seen them covered all the way, 1/3 of the way, or 1/2 of the way. They can be hung centered or off centered. There is so many ways to customize your embroidery hoop wreath to get your own look. Check out my completed project with a video tutorial on my blog, and see how cute it looks hanging up on my daughters bedroom canopy. Thanks for reading!
