DIY Fall Wreath In 5 Minutes

Are you guys ready for an awesome, cheap and fast fall project?! I jumped the gun and decorated for fall a bit early but I wanted time to share this tutorial with you all so that you can create a fall wreath too before that time of year hits us yet again! If you love this idea, feel free to visit my blog here to see more simple and budget friendly DIY hacks and renovations.
First things first is your materials. Glue gun is optional! I didn't end up using it. You'll want a grapevine wreath, floral stems, and scissors or wire snips. I purchased a 24" grapevine wreath for $6. It was originally $10 but 40% off at Joanns brought it down to $6 and they release coupons weekly so you may even be able to get a better deal than I did!
Next, I cut each of my floral stems short. I actually cut them even shorter than this picture portrays. You just need to leave enough stem to tuck the flower into your wreath.
Here are all of my floral stems cut and ready to place in my wreath.
Now, start experimenting with placement. If you decide to use glue to hold your stems in place, wait until you have all of your stems placed to glue. This way if something doesn't look right, you can still move your florals around. I just stick my stems into the wreath and weave them between the vines without glue. This is also a good idea so that you can reuse your grapevine wreath and switch our your floral stems with the season.
Now that we're all put together, it's time to hang your fall wreath!
I chose to use a 3m command strip to hang my wreath. They are easily removable and don't ruin any paint it comes in contact with. What do you all think about this easy and simple 5 minute wreath? You can view more pictures of it here.
