Easy Burlap Fall Door Swag
We don't get much of a fall here in south Texas so I don't do alot of fall decorating, but I do like to put a little something on our front door that's cheery and seasonal. To keep with our natural coastal vibe, I whipped up this door swag using burlap ribbon and florals along with some sea oats collected from the beach.
Any natural grasses will work, and wheat would be especially pretty for the fall. For the other components, I just chose a few picks and sprays from the floral department at our local craft store plus some pretty burlap ribbon.
I tied all the pieces together then wrapped them with a piece of crocheted ribbon to hold it all together. You can glue it too but I wanted to be able to use the grass elsewhere in my home after the season so I just tied it.
To hang it I just used the burlap ribbon with long tails that hook onto a command hook on the backside of our door. No ugly hook on the front!
