A Special Way To Send A Letter To Santa!!
4 Materials
Christmas is a very special time for your little ones, and having a special way to send Santa a letter is a fun new tradition you can enjoy year after year with your children!
I had this heavy cardboard mailbox i got at the Dollar Tree last year, And decided it was time to make a Santa mail box
I used a tall vintage wood spool, a lamp base weight and lamp rod.
Thread a nut onto one end of the rod then insert into the weighted base. Then used a washer, and nut underneath to make it good and tight.
Next, slide the spool over the rod.
I made a hole in the top and bottom of the mailbox and simply inserted the rod through the holes.
I used the lamp finial on top! Then decorated with fake snow, Poinsettias and festive ribbon with wire already built in.
And there you have it! An mailbox just for letters to Santa!! I used what I had around my shop, but you could also use a wood base with dowel or threaded rod. Just let your creativity take over! Thanks for lookin' and Happy Holidays! :)
This is a variation using wood blocks and a threaded rod. :)
