Have some old plastic or wooden shutters? How about some left over lattice? Have an old dresser drawer? Put them together and create a pretty garden angel or use indoors for the holiday season.

I have an old egg tray for the head, old lattice form a porch project, spindle left over from the porch, and one green ugly shutter. Broken dresser drawer I used later.

I cut the last spindel in half, trimmed the lattice and decided this was what I would use.

Brought the pieces inside the house and washed down the shutter and lattice. Playing around with decor ideas-

I painted the spindle with green and blue paint and tied the lattice on the back with two pipecleaners.

Then, I turned it back around and used glue to adhere the arms and egg tray-placed weight on the objects. Left it alone overnight. I used fabric-tac glue. One could use e6000 or liquid nail. I prefer liquid nail because he doesn't smell but I was out.

I wanted to use this old vintage coffee pot but the piece hung over the drawer I was going to use and would be hidden, so I had to find something else for her hands. I was given a cute picture frame with a sentiment saying for Mothers Day made by my grandchildren and so I tie that frame on her neck with pipecleaner.

I couldn't find the sign I wanted for her hands, so the following day I found something, a PEACE rustic sign, and took her outside next to my snowman shutter decoration, and took a final photo out on my covered porch. It has been warm here in Michigan all November so the plant will do fine outside for now.

I have both ideas on Youtube.

Bless to all!
