Styling a Christmas entry that brings holiday cheer come easy this year. Our new old bench is sitting there waiting to be adorned with festivity, so we collected some new and old items to give you an idea just in time for decorating.
Step 1: Collect items in the photo. White wood bench, sisal rug, blanket, candlestands, Nutcracker, star that lights up, rosemary wreath, white ribbon, brass bells, seagrass basket, black oil lantern, white sheet, wooden bead garland, live Christmas tree and mini battery operated lights.
Step 2: Place white bench and rug into space. This bench is a up-cycled bench created from an old twin bed. Also, Make sure to use a rug pad to protect your wood floors and help keep rug in place.
Step 3: Purchase or make a rosemary wreath. You can find easy directions on Pinterest. Here is a link to my Holiday Wreath board that has the pin that I followed to make this one.
Step 4: Make sure to add the bells from Hearth and Hand at Target and some white ribbon. Click Brass Bells at Target to find them online. Simply tie the ribbon onto the bells with one bell on one end and the other on the opposite end. Then tie the bells on with the remaining ribbon and make several bows.
Step 5: Add accessories like this Danish style lighted star, candle stands, books, blanket, and Nutcracker. After you place them all stand back and look at the overall look. It is hard to truly see how something is working unless you stand back and see the big picture.
Step 6: Add the basket, white sheet, live tree, battery operated lights, wooden garland and a black vintage oil lamp. Add some snow spray to your tree if you like the frosty look. Make sure to spray it outside otherwise you will get snow everywhere. Gently drape the sheet into the basket and lay the beaded garland over the edge. Place your lamp in front and your all done.
Here is a picture further away so you can get an idea of placement of the basket and all.
There you have it! Your beautiful Christmas entry. What a fun way to welcome your guest for the holidays!!! What is your favorite part of the decorated entry? Also, to get more information hop on over to the link below where you can GET THE LOOK and so much more.
