Holiday Displays...Make the Most of Your Decor Dollars!

I spent a small fortune on all those pretty pumpkins for my fall decorating, and only one had signs of turning to mush,so I decided to make the most of my decor dollars by upcycling them for my Christmas displays. A little spay paint, natural greenery (free) and some time outdoors on a beaufiful late fall day was all I needed!
Gold metalic spray paint, only one coat was needed to make the pumkin look like glass!
Silver and gold go well with the natural greenery!
And don't forget the window boxes!
I found these spray paints a my local Dollar General store, cheap!
Pretty, pretty...shiny, shiny....
Plus, a deer lawn ornament I've had for years got a new coat of satin nickel paint and a greenery necklace. He's decked out for the season too! Birch branches and more greenery adorn the arbor. I'm not finished with the outdoor displays yet...work always seams to interupt my playtime!
….and two weeks later, the front door dispay and planters are done! Joy to the World!
