Hi everyone! This craft is quick and easy. So if you're ready please join me in creating this Christmas decoration using one Target $3 glass jar. icon

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I recently took a little trip to Target for a few items, and of course, while I was there I stopped off at the dollar spot. While there I was able to find so many items that I could either upgrade or create a new craft out of them.

If you haven't seen my Target Wood Sleigh Upgrade, be sure to check it out!

Today we are going to create a glass jar decoration. It makes a beautiful display for Christmas. I found a glass jar for three dollars, and I thought it would make a perfect Christmas decoration display. So if you're ready let's create this quick, and easy Christmas craft.

Be sure to check out the video tutorial!

Materials needed

One glass jar

(Target $3)

Mod Podge

Paintbrush

One red Holiday Truck decoration

One mini Christmas tree

Snow powder (faux snow)

Twine

Christmas greenery

Scissors

Hot glue

Mini lights

Total cost around $6

Start off with taking some mod podge, and a paintbrush to apply your mod podge on the inside, bottom section of your glass jar.

After applying the mod podge, take your snow powder (faux snow) and sprinkle some on top of the mod podge.

This will help keep your snow powder in place. If you find that you have some snow powder left over after you have applied it, just take a paper cup, or any container, and pour the remaining powder into your container.

Next, take your mini Christmas tree, apply a small amount of hot glue on the bottom of your tree, and add it to your jar.

You can either add your greenery now or after you have added your red truck. I added my greenery after I added my red truck. And to be honest it probably would have been easier to add them in first.

Once you have added in your truck and greenery, you can take some twine, and add it around the top outer section of your jar.

I used two strands of twine and tied them around the top section of my jar. After doing this I took two pinecones and glued them onto my twine.

Now you can add your lights. Take your mini lights, and add them to your jar. Be sure to go around the greenery, tree, and truck. Continue adding your lights, and also be sure to add a strand of lights around the outside of your jar.

If you add the lights around the top outer section, be sure to add some clear tape to keep the wire/cord in place.

You're all done! Wasn't that a simple craft? I couldn't believe how quick, and easy this craft was.

All that is left is to find a spot in your home and display your beautiful Christmas decoration.

I hope that you have enjoyed this craft. Be sure to stop by in the comments, and say hello! I love hearing from all of you.

I'll see you soon!
