DIY Watercolor Heart-Embellished Pillow
Recently I was asked to participate in a mystery box challenge where a mysterious box of craft supplies was sent to me, and I had to create something from the supplies. One of the items in the box was a plain white pillow cover that was begging for color. I used Sharpies to give it a watercolor effect, and I used paracord and paint from the box to create a heart in the corner. I love how my mystery project turned out!
My DIY Watercolor Heart-Embellished Pillow is the perfect addition to my Valentine's decor, but it would be pretty all year long.
My mystery box supplies that were shipped to me.
The watercolor effect was created with Sharpies and rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle.
Fabric glue and paracord created the pretty heart embellishment, and I filled in the middle of the heart with fabric paint.
I love adding a pop of pink to my decor whenever I can.
