Feed Sack Pillow Covers

Burlap feed bags are so versatile and fun to work with. This bag is one that I decided to turn into a pillow cover.
First I wanted to add some texture to the bag, giving it a quilted look, so I embroidered around the letters.
Here is the picture with the stitching in place. I used a thin cotton batting on the back giving it a quilted look.
I used a 15 X 15 pillow insert. Here is the finished pillow cover. I really like how it turned out. For more ideas on pillow covers check out my blog. :)

Love this! Especially stitching around the letters - how clever! I can picture this (no pun intended but...) framed as well

@Kate Schleinkofer Thanx so much. I originally was going to frame this piece, but because I didn't have a place to hang it I didn't. Jo
