Have an empty Coffee Mate container lying round? Try this!

Check out these brilliant ideas below to put them to good use!

First, removed the label & wash the container.

Then, cut off the top & cut two slots in the sides.

After that, spray paint the bottle with Krylon Looking Glass spray paint & mixed equal parts vinegar & water into a spray bottle. Immediately after spraying, apply the vinegar/water mixture & blot with a paper towel - this will add mercury glass effect.

Next, add dirt, Dollar Store gems & your plant! I allowed smaller parts of the plant to peek out.

Then, wrap twine around the grooves in the bottle & hung it up!

I love how this looks in my room & no one will believe what it originally was!

First, remove the label & wash.

Then, squeezed some leftover craft paint into the container.

This is a great way to save paint & a great way to have easy access to it when you need it!

First, remove the label & wash.

Next, add chalkboard labels & pour laundry detergent & softener into the containers.

This is a great way to lighten the load of lugging the large detergent containers to the laundry room!

First, remove the label & wash.

Next, add some painter's tape.

Then, add some spray paint!

After that, fill them with craft supplies!

First, remove the label & wash.

After that, cut a hole towards the bottom of the bottle,

Next, fold the top of the hole to create a rounded top.

Next, grab a clothespin & cut a space for it to sit into on the bottom. Hot glue in place. Add some bird seed & hang in a tree for the birds!

First, remove the label & wash.

After that, remove the lid & wrap rope around the bottle hot gluing it in place. Add some of your favorite plants & place anywhere in your home!

I hope this inspires you to upcycle your old containers into something new!

Very cool. I have seen these used as canisters to for lour sugar etc. I even used one once because my salad dressing bottle was broken.( kids just throw stuff in the sink. So aggravating some times lol) so many awesome uses for bottles such as these. It helps to save our environment as well. Happy recycling. Love home talk and all who share they're ideas and creations. So inspiring. Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea.
