My mind is buzzing with ideas for Epoxy projects at the moment. I wanted to create a unique set of Coasters that were explosive with Colour and Warmth.

Once I had my idea, I gathered what I needed for the 1st pour. Epoxy A and B, mixing cup, stick, measuring cups for the Epoxy, heat gun, gloves and black pearl Mica powder.

I blended part A and B of the Epoxy and then added the black mica powder, mixing it well before the pour.

I poured the epoxy into the coasters roughly half way. (The Mica Powder Jar is holding the corner of the coaster down as it is raised. The coaster mold was a little bent!)

.

I left the Coasters for 24hrs to allow the Epoxy to harden.

For the next pour, I used Red, Orange, Yellow and White Mica Powder and a straw.

I Mixed the red Mica Powder with Epoxy and poured a ring around the coaster.

I Mixed the orange, Yellow and White. I poured a ring of orange on top of the red, then yellow and then white. Each on top of the other.

I used the straw to blow and Mix the Epoxy from the outside in. I then used gold Foil Flakes and placed them in the middle. Some scattered and I though that looked good and left them. I left the Coasters for 24hr to allow them to harden.

After 24hrs I poured a clear coat on top to cover the foil flakes. After 24hrs I removed the Coasters from their mold.

.

The edges were rough.

The mold stuck to the coaster in one part. I overfilled the Coaster Mold with the top coat.

I sanded the coasters so the edges were smooth.

This was as level as I could get them. I placed painters tape on the bottom of the coasters and prepared for another clear pour.

After 24hrs I removed the painters tape and this was the result.

I love them ❤
