Butterfly Dream Catcher With Special Meaning
This is a dream catcher with a special story and poem printable. The butterfly carries the negative feelings and dreams away at night and returns before dawn so that the child wakes in light and love. ***CLICK HERE FOR FULL INSTRUCTIONS & PRINTABLE POEM***
SUPPLIES
The dark frame was painted with a cream color then a metallic over coat.
The butterfly patterns, which are free on our site, are printed and traced onto cardstock scrapbook paper of choice.
We took some gold paint and touched up the feathers here and there.
Glue the feathers onto three pieces of approximately 8" cording. We used 4 feathers on the outside cords and three on the inside one.
The largest butterfly is tacked directly inside the frame as shown.
The feather cords are then glued to the bottom of the frame.
This poem is a beautiful FREE printable on our site. It can be hung with the dream catcher or rolled up into a scroll and given as a gift with it.
