Color Blocked Basket
If you have a stash of baskets at home, this project is for you! You only need a few minutes and a few items to make this easy project.
I wanted a basket perfect for holding our yummy apples once we get home from the local apple picking place or farmer’s market. Something that would be cute and stylish and also that would hold a lot of apples! This ended up just perfect.
I grabbed some chalky paint (I used DecoArt paint) and a foam brush and quickly painted about a third of the way up the sides of the basket. It was easiest to paint when upside down.
I love the deep rich gray color of paint contrasting alongside the warm brown of the basket. It adds a modern touch to an ordinary basket.
