Decorating My New Storage Jars

I had a couple of these glass jars left after sorting out storage space in the pantry cupboard.
Couldn't, didn't want to, get rid of them so I decided to paint them and use them for storage on my counter tops. They can hold 2kgs.

This is what the glass bottle lookeds like. I cleaned them with sugar soap first and left to dry properly. I then used chalk paint to cover the background . I used acrylics for the paintings and then sealed with an acrylic sealer.
They add so much colour to my counters. Will definety make more as I get new bottles.
Enjoyed the project?
