DIY Box Frame Keepsake

Easy
The box frames are so versatile and can make such a wonderful present or a keepsake for you and the family and friends. I used this simple box frame, customised it to suit my needs and absolutely loved the result. Blog post has full details on the story behind it.
My sister's old pointe ballet shoes, that were quite dirty and worn out.
I fixed them up using some mod podge. Painted the frame.
I then cut out little flowers using flower puncher and these colour chart samples from the paint store and glued on some pearls using E6000.
Then glued all the items on the frame.

    Such a sweet idea.

Very nice. My granddaughters are dancers, and I've been wanting to do something like this. I personally wouldn't have "repaired" the shoes. Every flaw was earned through hard work, and it would be nice to honor that hard work.
