DIY Coffee Filter Flowers

I love flowers, but sometimes I wish they lasted longer! I decided to make my own coffee filter flowers this week. This was fun and easy.
You will need:

- Coffee filters

- Small bowl with water

- Food coloring (I used red)

- Skewers

- Scissors

- Tape

- Vase (I used wine corks to fill the bottom of my vase)

Step one, fill your bowl with about a half a cup of water and 2-3 dabs of food coloring.
Step two, dip the filters in and lay on some paper towels to dry.
Step three, after they have dried you will want to twist them into flowers from the middle section of each filter like below
Step four, use a skewer and some take to wrap that twisted section onto your skewer.
Repeat on each flower and arrange in your vase. I added a little more decor to my arrangement by making some yellow hearts in addition.
Here is how it looked on my wine wrack.
Cost:

$0 dollars all of these items were around the house
