Make your own Kinetic / Sensory Sand!!!
Save a bundle and have fun with your kids!!!
1.5lbs Fine Craft Sand (I got it at Hobby Lobby for $2.50)
8oz Cornstarch Baby Powder (Found at Dollar Tree for $1.00)
1tbs Dish Soap (Had at home)
5 drops Tea Tree Oil (Had at Home)
1/3c Water
Container (Dollar Tree 2 for $1.00)
Tray (Had at Home)
Spoon or Fork (Had at Home)
Step 1:
Mix Wet Ingredients:
Water, Tea Tree Oil, and Soap
Step 2:
Mix Dry Ingredients:
Sand, Corn Starch Baby Powder, and we decided to throw in some Glitter
WARNING
IT WILL GET A LITTLE MESSY!!!


Step 3:
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients Together:
Start by pouring wet on dry
Use a fork to start or it WILL stick to you
Once it looks like clumps of wet sand, you can use your hands to crush and crumble it together

If it is too dry, the sand will not stick together (spritz with water until it stick together under pressure)
If it is too wet it will stick to your hands (add more corn starch)
