DIY Snowball Tutorial

I have seen these snowballs all over Pinterest & thought I would give them a try. Of course I'm always looking to spend as little as possible on supplies so my first stop was The Dollar Tree. Here is what I bought: Mod podge, styrofoam balls, bag of snow & foam brush
This is such a cute idea for the kiddos & so easy, but a little messy. I cover my work area with newspaper then cover the ball in spackling & let them dry. You

could also just cover them in the snow while they are wet, but I liked the extra texture, so I let them dry then covered them in mod podge & snow. I put them in this cute wire basket on my front steps. Nice too that you can leave them up all winter!

I am trying to make smaller snowballs for my Christmas village, do you have any suggestions? I don't like to touch cotton balls. Thank you
