DIY Mosaic Tile Tray
mosaic is such a fun way of updating things, if you have any leftover tiles, porcelain, china or broken plates it is a great way to re-use them. I had this tray for ages and I really wanted to modernise it and use in the house as decorative item rather than serving tray. This is what I did.
This was the before picture of an old and dated tray
I smashed some leftover tiles (be careful when you do this and use protective gear)
I used some tiling grout and adhesive to stick the pieces on the tray
let them dry. Once the grout has dried, go over the cracks and fill them with the grout, wipe clean using wet sponge or cloth.
Let it dry and this is the finished result
It looks beautiful in our bedroom.
