I love changing seasonal decor in my home, but very minimal for the most part. One of the easiest and simplest ways is to keep it easy is adding decor to a pedestal bowl. I love the simplicity and the little seasonal touch it adds.

Dollarama Bowl

I love the texture and hanmered detail of this simple bowl.

Cereal bowl from Dollarama

As if this bowl wasn't cute enough. This will be the base or the pedestal.

Getting ready

I like to spray paint in a cardboard box because of the overspray. The larger bowl os the top and the snake bowl is going to be flipped upside-down for the base of the pedestal.

Spraying into a cardboard box messages less mess and keeps the overspray controlled in the box.

I sprayed all over the bowl, even though I wouldn't see the bottom of it much.

Crazy glue works like a charm. Let it dry for at least an hour before you put weight into the bowl.

Add moss for a natural look

I got this package of moss at Dollarama.

Faux fern

This is one stem of faux fern, also from Dollarama.

This is a simple minimal way to add some Fall into your decor.
