You can make easy and cheap room decor with the materials in your home. I made a beautiful sunflower ornament and sunflower led light in this content.

I cut out 6 petal flower shapes from yellow craft paper.

Crush the petals with your hands to size them.

Make a round hole in the center of the flower with a punch.

Glue 6 shapes on top of each other. Make sure that the petals are on the empty parts of each other.

Cover the bulbs of the led light with black paper. Do not stick the black paper on the bulb. Black paper must be removable.

Glue the black paper to the space in the center of the flower.

Make a round ball of black yarn. Glue it in the middle of the flower.

Cut a leaf shape from green paper. Fold the leaf in 2 and fold it in a zigzag. This way it will look like a real leaf.

Glue the leaf to the bottom of the flower.

You can make a beautiful decor by passing the led light bulbs from the underside of the flowers.

You can make branches with craft wire and stick the flowers to these branches. This way it will look beautiful in the vase.

And the sunflower decor is ready.

I view much of this artsy crafty stuff. As I have done many of these things in the past over the decades of my life, not much of it impresses me. I still create my own designs but I don’t advertise. But I must tell you, this project of yours was very, very cute! Kudos to you for coming up with this clever idea! This is one I may do when done with the twenty or more other projects I’m working on.
