Galvanized Bucket Makeover

Alright, friends! This is an easy project for all of you galvanized bucket lovers.

Just pick up any metal bucket of your choice, and a vinyl phrase or saying that you'd like to adhere to it.

I ordered my vinyl from Gilbert Marketplace for only $6! icon

Then I measured the bucket from handle to handle.

Divided that in half, and put a dot to mark my center point.

Next I measured the top row of my vinyl and put a dot in the center of that.

I then lined up my two dots to make sure it was perfectly centered.

I turned over the vinyl and pressed down hard with my scraper.

I then flipped it back over and pulled off the white paper rolling it back very carefully.

Again lining up the two dots...

Then using the scraper again, I pushed the vinyl down onto the bucket, making sure it would adhere well.

I then did the exact same thing with the rest of the words. Ohhh cute!

Then removed the dots with a little nail polish remover and a Q-tip.

I then used a little clear spray and cinnamon and went around the edges to make it look like rusted metal.

Just spray a little spray, sprinkle on the cinnamon, and then reseal it with the spray.

I hate to buy ANYTHING I can make. Get brown paper, glue, and scissors out. A piece of plastic anything to avoid much clean up. Cut height you want the stems. Add glue to both sides of of your paper, twist up as tight as you want. Bend and wait to dry. After that you ready to go you may want some paint. Your choice you can match with you pumpkin, melon, etc. Hope this helps.
