If you’re looking for a small token for Valentines day or anytime, here’s cute little heart keyring you can make while saving the planet! OK, that might be a little extreme but it does use up a plastic lid, which hopefully you grabbed by digging in your neighbors trash… those darned non-earth caring people. Ü FULL POST HERE

Using your pattern size of choice from our download cut out your heart then cut out the material to match. We chose burlap for one size of this heart and a gold print for the other.

To hold the keyring on we took a small strip of muslin fabric and coated it with Mod Podge them folded it over long ways.

We then folded it over to make the ring and trimmed the excess, only allowing enough to slip under the edge of our heart.

After using Mod Podge to glue the burlap on one side of the heart we attached the strip of fabric on the other side before gluing on the back material.

Glue on your back piece. Once dry add a top coat on both sides to protect it.

You can now add the keyring.

Visit our site link below for the details on the second heart which was made using the top of a plastic egg carton and Washi tape!
