How to Make a Bouquet of Luck

What better way to bring in the month of leprechauns and green beer, than with a beautiful rainbow? Of course, to have a rainbow, you need rain, and thankfully we are getting some much needed rain here in California. I’m thankful for the soggy ground, beautiful rainbows, and St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner. My husband is Irish, which makes my son half Irish, which gives me all the more reason to celebrate this cheerful and whimsical holiday. As I was making dinner the other night, I emptied this cute little jar of its original contents, which happened to be green capers…get it? I have a “thing” for glass jars, and can never seem to save enough of them. This one was just too cute to toss in the recycle, so I decided it would be the prefect holder for a bouquet of 4 leaf clovers.I cut the clovers out on my Silhouette Cameo and used 22 gauge floral wire as the stem. I just sandwiched the wire between two clovers with a dab of hot glue. I then wrapped the wire with twine, again securing it with a bit of hot glue.I used my Silhouette sketch pens to make the “Keep Calm and Irish On” tag and glued that to a piece of floral wire as well. I added some fun glitter yarn, glitter glue, and distress ink before arranging my bouquet in my little capers jar. Easy, cute, and festive. Now bring on the luck!
