Recycle Tissue Paper
Welcome, I hope that everyone had a great weekend and that all of my fellow Canadian Friends had a Happy Thanksgiving! Along with Thanksgiving, it was also my birthday this past Wednesday, which means I was blessed with lot’s of goodies and some beutiful wrapping from all the gifts. I wasn’t going to share about this, but I think it is such an easy way to recycle and save some money, who doesn’t love saving money! Now let’s learn how I iron out wrinkles in used tissue paper, ecspeasially the really pretty tissue paper that you receive!
This is what I started with, a heaping mess of crumpled tissue paper which I am sure that you can all relate to, ecspeacially after a birthday party or Christmas event.
Pre-heat your iron to the polyester setting with some steam. Then stack 3 sheets of tissue paper on top of each other, lining up the corners as best that you can. Iron one side of the tissue paper stack and then flip it over and iron the other side. Fold the tissue paper accordian style, I usually start by folding the tissue paper in half and then fold each half again creating an accordian.
Now your tissue paper is ready to be used for another gift and you have just saved a few bucks!
