When I found this box , it was covered with contact paper and used as a booster seat as sorts for a Tv. After a bit of clean up and a new paint job, it quickly became one of my favorite up cycles.
All it took was a bit of soapy water to get this little gem all cleaned up and ready to paint.
I was not sure what I was going to do at first so I went to the computer to find a design. Once I printed this out and copied it to the first side and began painting it with black acrylic paint I was hooked .

Side 1: When it was all done with this side I really got into it and decided to free hand the rest of the images to resemble this side. ( I added these birds at the end.
On the other end I used my Cricut Machine to add words.
Side 2: This is after the vinyl letters where removed. I just loved the look so I decided to add more words to the sides
Side 3: This is the only side that I added color. Using just a light coating of Unicorn Spit Gel Stain for the water.
Side 4: It is going to be difficult to pic a favorite side. I am excited to replace the old card board box we are currently using to store the kindling wood at the cabin, with this fun piece.
Fun, Amazing and Recycled! And to think it almost ended up in the bon fire.

I am heading into the studio to add a poly coating that will really bring out the grains in plywood.
