Hi Crystal, I was intrigued by the heading so I read on. This project could have ended up looking so badly and "kitchy" in the wrong way but, I was so surprised to see that your color sense, your adding of the lace, beads and especially the more modern looking lamp base is absolutely gorgeous. Everything flowed into each other. You have a great eye and I appreciate that. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you, Leslie! I appreciate your feedback. I don't usually use modern lamp bases but this lamp base seemed to fit quite well with the shade, and was more affordable for the customer who commissioned the project. 🙂
