What a fun thing to find a cool and rock then paint it, even the kids can get in on the cation and have fun with this!! I painted some fun rocks inspired by the Trolls movie that can either be used as soem fun decor in the backyard or hidden at parks for other kids to find for fun.

Start with some fun shaped rocks, a good paint that will not wash off with rain (a good acrylic paint works fine), and paint brushes.

Pick some sort of theme to paint your rocks, mine are all little troll monsters. So I first painted each rock a solid color, then painted on the stripes, dots, eyes, and mouth.

I like the fun colors for these rocks, it helps them pop out in the outdoors.

Giving them fun expressions lets them have some fun character!

I love these monsters with 4 eyes!

These stripes are so much fun!!

Here is a video tutorial on how I made these fun rock monsters. I hid them in a park for some kids to find, my kids even helped hide them.

Trolls in a tree, yes!!

Here is the little trio, it looks like the are singing!!
