Paper Mache Solar Lanterns
There are lots of solar lights and lanterns made out of different materials, but have you ever thought about making one out of paper mache? So easy to make, although a bit time consuming, but the final results can be very beautiful.
Best of all, paper mache lanterns work great as an everyday light source, party and home decorations, and more importantly, outdoor lighting for the summertime.
Basically, you paste paper strips to a balloon, allow to dry, prime the paper lantern with paint. Draw on designs and cut out. Spray with stone texture paint, seal and insert solar light or an led candlelight..
