All you need is a form and the materials you want to make it with. Put wreath into the search engine for this site and you will get dozens of ideas. I like simple, so I usually use a form (like a grapevine or metal one) which can be anything you want to use (I have used hula hoops for some really fun ones). When I want to make a new one, I usually see what I already have, and if that doesn't inspire me, I go to the dollar store and walk around until I see something - a color, a decoration, a garland, a scarf that gives me a path, and off I go! Right now, I'm playing with rag wreaths and will post one or both when I get them where I want them. Have fun with it, and if you look at any of my posts, you'll see that I often reuse or redo them when I want to change them.

Do you know what Pintrust is ?? It's one of the very best ways to find things you love, want to know how to diy something, need a recipe, how to decorate your home or a Christmas tree, how to paint. Just about anything you want to know or love is on Pinterest. Just go to Pintrust.com and they will prompt you or go to your Play store and download they're app. Hope this helps. Oh and there is hometalk.com, they just had a live video on how to make a wreath for Autumn.

I love to paint pine cones and wire them onto a vine wreath or hot glue them on. Here are two kinds I made. One for summer, one for a friend as a gift. Next I will use fall colors to make another for my door.

Buy a round laundry basket and cut off the top about 3 inches. You can weave any thing you want through the webbing. If this is too big, try looking for a smaller one @ thrift store, or a basket, such as one for trash, that's plastic. Good Luck!

Bend a wire coat hanger into a round. Then use garbage bags cut into approx 6-8inch ×2-3inch strips. Approx 10 bags used.

Tie onto ring. Keep going until too tight to add more. Trim to finish.

This looks especially nice with clear bags. Add baubles and ribbon hanging through the middle. Could also use a floral wire.
