Quick & Easy Hand Sewn Upcycled Denim Storage Basket

Do you have old denim jeans you'd like to get rid of? Why not upcycle and turn the legs into cute storage baskets! So easy to do and you just need to hand sew three short seams?
First, cut off twelve inches of the leg portion.
Turn inside out and hand stitch, with a needle and thread, a seam about an half inch from cut off edge. Pull open leg and match center seams together, flatten, creating a triangular shape. Hand stitch across about two inches from pointed end. Stitch opposite side, making sure the triangles are even.
Turn right side out and fold down outside hem. Ta Da!
See how to make the attached adorable denim flowers at http://plumperfectandme.blogspot.com/2015/03/quick-and-easy-hand-sewn-upcycled-denim.html
