Repurposed outlet covers

When remodeling a room we wondered how to re-use the old outlet covers.
Almost done, ready to select some old snap shots to cut down and insert behind outlet covers.
Clean and spray paint covers.
Cut out a base. We used MDF 1/2 inch over size and rounded the edges with router.
Assemble the two parts when dry. The photos require a spacer so they stay flush against the back of the outlet cover. You can reuse clear packaging plastic for a clear pane.
