So a friend of mine is a massive dog lover and I didn’t have a clue what to get her for her birthday until I found this French bulldog mould on Amazon and decided to make this cute home decor dog ornament. Very simple and easy to make. I’m also selling these in my Etsy store, personalised to any colour you desire.

Before

I brought this french bulldog mould off Amazon at a fairly good price. I never thought this mould would produce such a cute little ornament that it made.

I decided because my friends favourite colour is pink that I would colour the resin using a bit neon pink pigment and lots of pink glitter. I buy my resin pigment from a website “jewellery made by me” it’s a really good affordable resin business. I get my glitter from the pound stores.

Firstly, I mixed up 80ml of resin and hardener. I get my resin from Amazon and it’s the brand “Craft Resin” this is the best resin I’ve found so far that I don’t get any bubble problems with.

Next, I slowly mixed in the pigment and glitter. I just kept adding until I was happy with the colour and amount of glitter mixed in.

To get rid of any bubbles I used my heat gun. I got my heat gun from Amazon at just £13. These are really ideal for getting rid of any unwanted bubbles.

Lastly I poured my resin mixture into the mould slowly again to not create any bubbles.

After

After 24 hours I de-moulded the French bulldog and I’m so pleased with the final outcome. This mould is such a easy mould to use and these ornaments would make the perfect gift for someone for there home. I’m selling these in my Etsy store if anyone would like one making in any colour.
