There are times you need to travel with your pets and if they are lucky enough they get to stay at a kitty resort. Our kittys home away from home requires us to bring all of her personal goodies and food. Her “special food” comes in these heavy duty plastic bags that of course I save. I have literally made dozens of these bags for my crazy cat friends.
Yes people that is it! Cat food bags (that of course are washed out) , thread, scissors, and a sewing machine. Here is how to do it!
Cut the top of bag to height desired, and cut the sides out of the second bag.
I folded the top of the bag inward to make a hem and ran it through my sewing machine. The handles were folded in half and reinforced with double seams on either side. I taped the handles to the inside of the bag to keep them in place while I sewed them.
TaDa! Now your kitty is ready for her vaca! They also make awesome gift bags for your crazy cat friends.
