Turn paperback books into vintage classic books in minutes.

Take the cover off a paperback book.
Cut open a paper bag. Crumble the bag and iron it flat. Repeat until you like the look of the paper. Trace the shape of the book and cut it out. Spray generously with repositionable spray adhesive.
Ink the side of the book with ink pad and wrap the edge of the book in the bag Covering the spine of the book.
I cut out fabric squares and wrote the names of classic novels on them. I also rubbed the edges of the spine with the ink pad And then lightly sanded them to give them more character.
I added one book to the stack with just the cover missing and wrapped them in vintage lace.
