Easy
Easy to make, super cool, accent lights that can go anywhere.
I don't remember exactly how I thought of these bottle lights, but they are super adorable and a big hit.
Clean a clear bottle, remove labels and make sure the LED candle fits in the opening of your bottle.
Paint your bottle translucent so light will shine through. I found acrylic paint mixed with water worked great. Be yourself and try different ways to add color to your bottle.
Hot glue the bottle cap to the bottom of the dollar store LED battery candle.
Put the LED battery candles in your painted/decorated bottle. When it's dry! Patience grasshopper!
Go crazy with it! Great for power outages, yards, bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bars, anywhere cause it uses 2 AAA batteries to operate.
Found different ways to add color.
Sell them to raise money for childrens cancer research.
Suggested materials:
  • Old bottles, caps, acrylic paint, dollar store LED battery candles, glue gun.   (Recycle bin, dollar store)
  • AAA batteries
