Build easily a nice toy for your kids
It's well known that it's not healthy for the kids to stay too much in front of a PC. That's why I decided to offer them a chance to play with a laptop as long as they want. Just like a real notebook, it has the "Undo" function, just that it's in the shape of a small sponge: draw - erase, mistake - erase, not perfect - erase, perfect - admire and erase and so on.
I cut two fir panels at the required size (13.75 x 10 in) and sanded them and their edges
I painted the screen, keyboard and touchpad using blackboard special paint. After that I joined the two panels using simple hinges
I added a stop on the back of the lower part, in order to keep the screen at the right angle
In the end, I added a little branding and everything was ready
Enjoyed the project?
Suggested materials:
- Fir panel 13.75 x 10 in - 2 pieces
