The other day I was in Hobby Lobby and saw this sign. It hit the nail on the head about me. I knew I had to buy it right away. It was originally priced at $7.99 but was half price that day at $3.99. But the sign isn’t the story.

I blame a good friend for introducing me to creme brûlée Coffee Mate. I immediately loved it and now I don’t want any other creamer in my morning “cup” of coffee. I say cup, but it is actually a 16 ounce mug. As soon as I wake up, I brew my coffee.

The creme brûlée Coffee Mate is, however, quite hard to find. My friend and I will call each other often to see if the other one “needs” some creamer when we find some . Here’s my TIP. When I am unable to find it in any grocery store, I buy Coffee Mate French vanilla creamer. BUT, I add a slight tablespoonful of brown sugar to my coffee because of the size of my mug. If you are using a normal sized coffee cup, you might just use a teaspoonful of brown sugar. The brown sugar adds just the right amount of flavor to mimic creme brûlée. I have tried other brands of creme brûlée creamer and they can’t, to me, compete with the Coffee Mate brand. And NO, I am not receiving any compensation from Nestle! Just wanted to share my “confession”, lol, with my fellow Hometalkers. I’m hooked on creme brûlée creamer. It is like drinking a dessert! Try it, you might like it too. Because my coffee is so satisfying, I almost never eat breakfast. FYI, I found a recipe online for creme brûlée creamer and I tried making it ONCE. Won’t be making that mistake again. It just was not as good as the Coffee Mate brand. This is why I am a self proclaimed coffee creamer snob.
