I am using up some of the craft supplies I have on hand to make an easy monogrammed canvas wall art for my entry way. Using a blank canvas, tape, and a little paint, you can customize the piece to match any decor!
Supplies:

White Canvas Panel (any size)
Paint (Gloss Turquoise by Deco Art)
Small/Medium Paint Brush
Washi tape or Painters tape
Cricut Explore Air
Vinyl for the monogram
Transfer Tape
Measure out how wide you want your stripes to be and make a light mark on the edge of the canvas using a pencil. I spaced mine as wide as the washi tape I was using. Mark off the sections that you are NOT going to paint using your washi tape or painters tape. Paint the exposed areas using a small brush. Once the canvas is dry, remove the tape.
I used the Design Space software with my Cricut cutting machine to design a monogram with a floral motif. Once the image was cut, I carefully weeded the excess vinyl from the mat.
I then used transfer tape to transfer the design from the mat to the canvas and applied it with a scraper tool to remove any bubbles.
Admire your beautiful new DIY monogrammed canvas wall art and hang for everyone to see!
