Metallic Thumb Tack Art

The DIY Playbook
by The DIY Playbook
Sometimes my favorite projects are the ones that literally take only 20 minutes to whip up. Well guys, this is definitely one of those projects! And even better…it's super easy and very inexpensive.
I created personalized art for our master bedroom using only thumb tacks and a blank canvas.
I did a big "F" for our last name, but you can do absolutely anything you want. Your monogram, a heart, an "&" sign...it's completely up to you.
I ended up just tracing a big letter that we had, but you can also consider printing out letters on the computer to trace. Or go ahead and freehand if you have nice handwriting.
Such a fun, easy, and personalized project! It doesn't get much better than that.

How easy is that! I can't wait to do this!

I love this exactly as you've done it (and, of course, I'm going to "borrow" your idea), but I thought of two possible changes: 1) use corrugated cardboard from a recycled box on the back to protect from the points; 2) Put in the tacks, spray paint lightly, and remove the tacks (which isn't what I'm going to do because I LOVE this the way it is!).
